How this list was made, and what it will not tell you
Somebody opened every funder’s own website and read what it said. Where a page did not state a deadline or spell out who may apply, the entry says so rather than guessing.
Every link was tested. Fifty-seven were broken or pointed at the wrong page and have been repaired; two funders had gone entirely and are marked as such. A link that 404s wastes an evening, so this is checked rather than assumed.
Nothing is deleted. Closed, invitation-only and discontinued programmes stay under their own headings, because an annual programme reopens and a correction is worth more than a silent gap.
There are no scores or rankings. Ranking would mean claiming to know your organization, and we do not.
