What to expect before you go.
Hours
Burbank location: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm. Applications cannot be processed after 4:00pm.
Who can get help
The person using the equipment must live in the service area, which includes Burbank, Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge and neighbouring cities. Equipment is for in-home use only — not for skilled nursing or convalescent facilities. No income limit.
Cost
Free, with no limit on how long equipment can be borrowed. Delivery is available for a fee.
How to start
Create a free account and complete the short application online, then collect the equipment in Burbank or Pasadena. Bring a driver's licence or other government ID.

Since 1923 — the nation's largest provider of free loaned durable medical equipment (DME) for in-home use. Wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, shower chairs, and more — at absolutely no cost. Serves 30,000+ residents and is funded entirely by private donations. New Burbank location expanded their reach into the San Fernando Valley.
